On Sunday December 8, Shahrukh Khan released Deanne Panday’s new book Shut Up and Train, for which he has also written a foreword, at the Palladium Hotel, Lower Parel.

In his foreword, Shahrukh Khan wrote: “Being fit is important in my line of work. To be able to work for 12 hours a day—from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening—you need to have a certain level of fitness…But to develop physical strength, you first need to have mental strength. I always tell my children you don’t need to have big biceps, but a big heart; your mind has to be tougher than your quads. The rest will follow. The physical attributes—the manifestation of a strong mind—will be seen in a strong body. It will never be the other way round…I think you have to think fit, believe fit.”
